VITILIGO is characterized by a focal or generalized distribution of depigmented macules and patches. Disease commonly occurs Periorificilly (Mouth, Orbits, Vagina, anus) or at sites of trauma (Hands, Elbows, Knees). The disorder is often associated with Thyroid, Diabetes, and Pernicious anemia or Addison disease. The treatment usually involves topical medication, phototherapy, Lasers.
